Born out of a massive industrial research and development project, the S-2005-IR is designed for new technology, high-solid coatings. Using HIGH INTENSITY, medium-wave infrared technology, the S-2005-IR puts out 17,000 watts of power! This makes reaching panel temperatures of 140°F (60°C) in less than 90 seconds possible. With its advanced control system, the operator simply inputs the desired temperature, and infrared sensors maintain that temperature throughout the cure time. This means no burned paint jobs and no warped plastic! A purge timer can be set to turn the unit on, making this unit hassle-free and very automated. The S-2005-IR has an area coverage of 48 square feet – that’s the largest in the industry! Included is a 50' cord with plug and a heavy-duty multi-position stand that reaches to over 7' tall.
